1. Biomechanical Many abnormalities to health are best restored through the use of manual medicine, specifically osteopathic manipulative treatment. This is, of course, individually tailored manual biomechanical procedures applied to the patient's specific joints and anatomical structures with the goal of restoring the patient's health to optimum wellness. 2. Biochemical The biochemical abnormalities to health is best restored through the use of pharmaceuticals and neutraceuticals. Chinese herbology never uses a single herb, it always uses a combination of 3-20 herbs mixed in just the right balance to stimulate, modulate, up-regulate, and down-regulate the patient's physiolgoy with the goal of improving and restoring the body's physiological function and returning it to balanced health.
