The Effects of Cranio-Sacral CV-4

Anthony G. Chila, DO, FAAO
The AAO Journal Winter 2002

In this study, 6 subjects participated in each three trials of randomized order which included CV-4 trial, sham an control. Heart rate, mean arterial pressure and muscle sympathetic nerve activity were measured continuously during each trial. Directly measured efferent mSNA was obtained using standard microneurographic technique at the fibular nerve. The authors concluded that a modes decrease in mSNA is associated with the CV-4 induced "still point".
